Chaos or Not? Taiwanese Traffic Condition: Foreigner’s Viewpoint

Outline

The project is focusing on foreigners’ view of the road traffic of Taiwan. Therefore, we are inviting some international students to our interview and video filming. The project will be separated into two part, the experiencing section and the interviewing section. For the first section, two of our members who’ve got the scooter license will take our international respondents for a ride to Zhongli Motor Vehicles Office. We hope that they can have a special experience of Taiwan’s road traffic through the ride to the office. When we get to the office, we are going to show them the examination area and how Taiwanese get a scooter/car license (we hope that we can give them a try if they agree and the area is opened for practicing.) The whole process will be recorded through the form of a vlog. After that we will move to the interview section. We will make an interview by asking some question and showing them some videos of Taiwan’s road traffic (including some special habits or some serious accident.) Through this section, we hope to collect their experiences and opinions to our traffic condition; on the other hand, we are also looking forward for their sharing of the traffic conditions (including rules, habits and regulation) in their own countries. The interview will be recorded, of course.
